The California Department of Transportation proposes an overlay project on Interstate 5 in Fresno County from 2 miles north of Route 5/33/145 interchange to South Derrick Avenue Overcrossing, postmiles 20.0 to 21.0 and from 1 miles north of Route 5/33 interchange to 1.1 mile south of West Kamm Avenue Overcrossing, postmiles 30.9 to
37.3. The project would cold plane the existing roadway, overlay with rubberized asphalt, replace signposts, and install new 6” striping. There would be no work on the bridges within the project limits, no shoulder backing, and no new right of way would be required.
