Reasons for Exemption
Class 3 – New Construction. The project consists of construction of a new gangway and covered boatlift as an accessory structure to a residence. The proposed structure is an addition to an existing pier. No littoral vegetation will be removed. All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 31. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
