Document Description
Project Description: The proposed project is a comprehensive update of the City's General Plan (including the Housing Element) and adoption of a new Arrow Highway Mixed-Use District (AHMUD) Specific Plan, the Montclair Corridors Code, and a new Climate Action Plan. As part of the project, the City will also update the General Plan Land Use Map and process any zoning amendments required to bring zoning into conformance with the General Plan's land use recommendations concurrently with approval of the General Plan.
On December 16, 2024, after conducting second reading, the City Council of the City of Montclair has:
. Adopted Ordinance No. 24-1009 -Repealing the North Montclair Specific Plan and adopting the Arrow Highway Mixed-Use Specific Plan (2024-55); and
. Adopted Ordinance 24-1010 adopting the Montclair Corridors Code, amending portions of Title 11 (Zoning and Development) of the Montclair Municipal Code, repealing the Holt Boulevard Specific Plan and the Montclair Parkway Place Specific Plan; and updating the Official Zoning Map of the City of Montclair.
