Document Description
Remove existing bollards at road crossings, replace with new pedestrian gate, add 8’ stripe of asphalt and 4’ wide of Decomposed granite (DG) where trail currently exists, with minor realignment (approx. 1000’).
Implementation consists of excavating existing bollards of unknown depth and install new pedestrian gate in concrete in approximately the same locations, approximately 36”. Remove existing 2” of asphalt or ballast on existing trail to be replaced with 2” of asphalt and 2” DG as shown. Realigned portion will follow previously used road grade.
Project consists of repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing public facilities, including trails, involving no expansion of use; the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the structure will be located on the same site and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced; the construction of a limited number of new, small structures; and the minor public alteration in the condition of land which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, or scenic trees.
