Remove existing bollards at road crossings, replace with new pedestrian gate, add 8’ stripe of asphalt and 4’ wide of Decomposed granite (DG) where trail currently exists, with minor realignment (approx. 1000’). Implementation consists of excavating existing bollards of unknown depth and install new pedestrian gate in concrete in approximately the same locations, approximately 36”. Remove existing 2” of asphalt or ballast on existing trail to be replaced with 2” of asphalt and 2” DG as shown. Realigned portion will follow previously used road grade.
