Document Description
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) will convey up to 15,000 acre-feet of 2020 Central Valley Project (CVP) San Joaquin River Restoration Program water (Non-Project Water) to KCWA, on behalf of its member unit, Rosedale-Rio Bravo Water Storage District (RRBWSD). The United States Bureau of Reclamation will make the Non-Project Water available to DWR at O’Neill Forebay for subsequent delivery by DWR to KCWA’s turnout(s) in Reaches 9A through 16A of the California Aqueduct through December 31, 2020, in accordance with Article 55 of KCWA’s Water Supply Contract with DWR. The proposed transfer is within the scope of the Water Transfer Program for the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors Water Authority, 2014-2038 Final EIR/EIS (State Clearinghouse No. 2011061057) and will be implemented using existing water conveyance facilities.
