Caltrans proposes to bring the current barrier rail into current standards on State Route (SR) 253 at post mile (PM 3.47 in Mendocino County. The existing concrete barrier as placed with the existing guardrail does not meet current standard. Existing bridge railing will also have to be reduced in length.
