The work at Mountain Lake will include the replacement of an existing overflow pipe currently located in the southwest corner of the lake. The existing corrugated metal pipe will be replaced with a new concrete overflow box located within Mountain Lake. The existing pipe leading from the overflow box to the City of San Francisco’s combined sewer system will be replaced in kind using trenchless methods (cured in place pipe, and pipe bursting).
