Document Description
Repair a failed timber piling that supports the pier at China Camp Village at China Camp State Park to prevent failure of the pier. Work will detach the lateral joist from the failed piling, remove the old piling, insert a new all-natural, untreated 12-inch greenheart timber piling, and fasten the lateral joist and pier deck planking to the new piling. All work will be done in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
