Document Description
Wyntoon Forests, LLC / Hearst Forests, LLC plan to remove glacial sediment that has recently deposited into a 2,500-foot reach of the Mud Creek Diversion Channel. The unconsolidated material will be removed and placed above the ordinary high-water mark along the levy running the length of the project area. Removing the sediment and maintaining the efficiency of the canal will prevent this material from being flushed during Spring storm events and entering the McCloud River system at the McCloud Reservoir.
