Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SOL-39938-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Solano Irrigation District. The project is limited to relocating and re-sizing one existing water transmission pipeline and relocating two water distribution pipelines. The portion of the existing 27-inch diameter concrete cylinder transmission pipeline to be relocated begins approximately 80 feet south of the intersection of Gibson Canyon Road and Farrell Road and extends approximately 160 feet northwest under a paved area of the intersection. The pipeline will be relocated and upsized to a 30-inch diameter pipe beginning approximately 80 feet south of the intersection and extending approximately 230 feet along the south side of Farrell Road, then turning north and running under Farrell Road, then turning east and extending approximately 65 feet to connect to the existing water transmission line. An existing 10-inch diameter water main that crosses Gibson Canyon Road just north of the intersection will be relocated approximately 100 feet south of the intersection. Two existing 4-inch water distribution pipelines that run along the east edge of Gibson Canyon Road may be relocated approximately 10 feet west, into an existing paved area. The Project will result in 0.15 acres and approximately 230 linear feet of temporary impacts to ephemeral stream habitat. The Project will not result in permanent impacts, remove trees, or include stream dewatering.
