The project is located in Granite Basin on the Plumas National Forest Feather River Ranger District. The project has three components: 1) Development of 14.28 miles of single track motorized trail; 2) reclassification of 6.9 miles of Forest Service road 23N18 and the entire length of 23N95Y (3.2 miles) from ML3 to ML2 or mixed use; and 3) decommissioning of 12.46 miles of Forest Service roads that are no longer in use or impact sensitive resources.
