Caltrans proposes to construct two sidehill viaducts at post miles 1.0 and 4.0 along State Route 9 to permanently restore areas that have experienced landslides during rainstorms. The sidehill viaducts would support the northbound lane of State Route 9 and would span the existing unstable and over-steepened slopes. The project would also involve drainage improvements at post mile 4.0.
