Document Description
Conduct fuel reduction and vegetation management along park access roads and the Bennett Ridge park boundary in Trione-Annadel State Park to improve emergency access and reduce fire risk. Work will: -Remove dead trees and live trees with poor vigor or structure while retaining limited dead trees with nest cavities and other habitat features; -Thin remaining trees and shrubs; -Remove ladder fuels by pruning the branches on trees and shrubs up to a height of 10 feet; -Remove, pile burn, chip, and/or lop and scatter dead and downed woody fuel and slash; -Leave select slash and large logs onsite for erosion control.
