Document Description
The Project's scope of work includes the improvement of an approximately 970-foot long natural surface, multi-use trail. Construction activities will consist of brush clearance, grubbing, trail tread construction, installation of minor retaining structures, and related improvements. The Project is located in the East San Gabriel Valley Significant Ecological Area and will therefore require additional protective measures such as preservation of native arroyo willows throughout the riparian section, removal of invasive Arundo, and administration of pre-construction bird surveys during nesting season to reduce the potential for project-related impacts.
