Document Description
Repair main water system in the campground at Andrew Molera State Park to repair facilities damaged by storms. Work will:
• Excavate 1650’ long X 1’ wide X 3’ deep trench for main water line;
• Install 3” PVC SCH 40 main water line in trench;
• Install up to twelve (12) lateral lines off main water line in approximately 25’ long X 1’ wide X 3’ deep trenches;
• Backfill trenches with 6” of sand and previously removed fill and compacted;
• Install shut off valves and main valves as necessary;
• Replace two (2) 3’ culverts, and;
• Reconfigure campsites, replacing fire rings, picnic tables and campsite markers as necessary.

Project consists of the repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures or facilities involving no expansion of use beyond current levels and is included as “Utility repairs or minor upgrades” in the Department of Parks and Recreation’s list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR §15300.4, and the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced, and the minor alterations in the condition of land, water and/or vegetation which do not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
