Document Description
The project consist of the construction of 5x10 feet landing, 5x30 feet pier, 4x24 feet gangway, 24x33 feet covered boatlift, and 1 0x20 feet swim float. Project includes driving 15 metal pilings lakeward of the project site. Project begins from existing mortared rock seawall. Depth of readings in project area ranged from 3.1 Rumsey at the seawall to approx. -9.9 feet Rumsey at lakeward extent of project. Lakebed has a moderate lakeward slope in the beach area. Tules were not present within or adjacent to the project area. Construction will occur within October 15 to December 31 work window.

Reasons for Exemption
The project is a private accessory structure. No littoral vegetation will be removed. All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 3 1 unless under direct consultation with California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
