- The California Conservation Corps (CCC) will be working on clearing out areas of trails at Box Springs Mountain reserve to remove invasive plant species and reduce available fuel of wildfires during fire season. Additional work will include erosion control measures and the planting of native vegetation. This will benefit users of the trail systems and the community by increasing trail function, improving habitat for wildlife, and reducing the potential impacts of seasonal wildfires.
