Document Description
California Water· Service-Stockton proposes to begin operating a new 32-foot high, 128-foot diameter, 2.5 to 2.6-million-gallon tank and a 1, 120-foot2 cinderblock pump station. The cinderblock pump station operation will involve the use of two 1, 700-gpm pumps and one 1,200-gpm pump, a Pacific Gas and Electric meter panel, a transformer~ an emergency generator with a 500-gallon fuel tank, and electrical controls. An eight-foot diameter, 20-foot long hydropneumatic tank will also be used to pressurize and store water. Storm drain piping on site and 70-Jeet off-site will direct and discharge stormwater to the city's storm drain system. A retention basin and vegetated areas will infiltrate runoff and reduce flows to the city storm drain system. Chain link fencing around the 87,616 foot2 site will provide security. The Project will assist in providing drinking water to the City of Stockton.
