Document Description
Calwest Rain-Kerman proposes to a operate a point of entry dibromochloropropane treatment system to treat water for their office building. The existing constructed system would route water through granulated activated carbon (GAC) for water treatment, a softener to remove hard minerals, and six feet of two-inch piping that connects the components to the existing system. The GAC media for treatment will be replaced by Culligan as it is exhausted. Calwest Rain-Kerman also proposes to operate Well 2, a 100-gallon per minute, 360-foot well, a newly installed three-HP submersible pump, a chlorination system, and four 85-gallon tanks. The well replaces a 100-gallon per minute agricultural well that was previously unpermitted and used for drinking water. Water will be pumped through existing piping and one hundred and sixty-two feet of new piping, less than four inches in diameter, that was recently installed to connect the well and tanks to the rest of the system.
