Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0209-R 1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Todd Phelps. The project is limited to two encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to Mattole Canyon Creek. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The second proposed encroachment is to realign a stream to its native channel by realigning the culvert crossing. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, placement of a 30" minimum diameter culvert in alignment with the stream channel, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
