Document Description
Emergency replacement of two 12-ft-wide railcar bridges destroyed in the Bear Fire. Bridges are needed to provide emergency, fire recovery, and landowner access over Oregon Gulch (an intermittent stream). First bridge will be replaced with a 16 ft. free-span bridge to meet County and CalFire requirements, with abutments placed behind (roadside of) the existing abutments. Second bridge, located on the DWR access portion of the road, will be replaced with a railcar bridge using the existing bridge abutments.
