Reasons for Exemption
There would be a net increase of one classroom at Planada Elementary School. The school currently has a total of 26 classrooms. With the removal of the five portable classrooms and the addition of six new classrooms (a net increase of one classroom), the new total classrooms would be 27. Therefore, the project would not exceed the 25 percent capacity or net 1 O classrooms threshold stated in Section 15314 of the CEQA Guidelines.
