Caltrans Maintenance proposes to replace or repair seven drainage systems identified by the Culvert Inspection Program as deteriorated and beyond their useful service life. Without such repair or replacement, the roadway could be subject to washout, requiring more extensive roadway reconstruction. In the seven drainage systems, eight culverts are identified for repair or replacement.

The purpose of this project is to replace or repair seven drainage systems to reduce washout and potential extensive roadway reconstruction and maintain public safety. There will be no change in the use of the facility or unusual circumstances. There are no impacts or significant effects to environmental resources or cultural/historical resources, Standard project practices and avoidance measures will be implemented to ensure compliance will all applicable laws.
