Document Description
Notice of Exemption for Streambed Alteration Agreement 1600-2019-0830-R1
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed
Alteration Agreement (Agreement) No. 1600-2019-0830-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Tong Xiong. This project has been proposed to address sediment input and risk of continued fill failure from a poorly designed road/pad structure within the headwaters of an ephemeral stream. This project proposes to excavate and replace existing fill with an appropriately engineered low-water armored stream crossing to mitigate fill failure and sediment input from scour of the existing road/pad surface. The road along the crossing surface as well as the outfall of the crossing will be armored to withstand 100-year storm flows.
