Document Description
*Project withdrawn per lead request, see memo attachment The World Oil Tank Installation Project (Project) involves the construction and operation of two new 25,000 barrel-capacity internal floating roof petroleum storage tanks within the existing World Oil Terminal located on Pier C in the Long Beach Harbor District. Construction of the two new tanks would include new tank foundations and pipeline connections to existing facility infrastructure, such as the truck loading racks. The Project would provide additional storage capacity to increase the efficiency of terminal operations and supplant the terminal's existing tanks that provide crude oil storage to the World Oil Refinery in South Gate. The existing tanks would then be removed from dedicated refinery service and become available to lease to third-party vendors.
