This is a major damage restoration project located in San Mateo county along State Route (SR) 84 post mile (PM) 6.0, approximately 0.1 mile west of Peek-a-Boo Lane, near the town of La Honda. to SR 84 for most of the length of the highway, including within the project limits. The project will involve the construction of a retaining wall, and the following existing facilities at the project location will be constructed and improved: damaged pavement will be reconstructed, undermined metal beam guardrail will be upgraded to Midwest Guardrail System (MGS), the existing dike will be re-established, the existing roadway ditch along the westbound (WB) shoulder will be reconstructed, and new riprap protection will be placed at the beginning of the guardrail.
