- Under the supervision of the Division of Safety of Dams, LADWP proposes to install an extensometer at the dam of the South Hai wee Reservoir to monitor future possible settlement of backfill placed in an abandoned access shaft. An 8-inch borehole will be drilled at the crest of the dam to a depth of 90 feet.
