Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0205-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ed Stevenson/ Alameda County Water District The Project is limited to vegetation removal within Vallecitos Creek Vegetation trimming will be conducted using only manual tools and hand-held power tools and may include a team of three to five people. All cut vegetation will be removed from the channel.

Maintenance of an existing structure The Vallecitos Channel is a component of the Permittee’s water supply system. The channel is an engineered, unlined, earthen trapezoidal channel that extends nearly 12,000 linear feet (LF) from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) South Bay Aqueduct (SBA) turnout in the upper watershed to Vallecitos Creek near Vallecitos Lane in the lower watershed.
