Document Description
Three culvert extensions will occur at three separate intermittent drainage crossings. The existing culverts will be modified by adding extensions as a part of improving existing turn radii. Pipe couplings will be used to attach the culvert extensions to the existing culverts, the extensions will have the same capacity and diameter as the existing culverts. Culvert extensions 1 and 2 will be located at the outfalls and culvert extension 3 will be installed on the inlet. Rock dissipaters used for slope protection will be installed a maximum of 20 feet from the existing road prism at culvert extension 1 and 30 feet from the existing road prism at culvert extension 2. Once the extensions are installed, earth and gravel will be installed on the road surface to match the existing grade.
