Document Description
This proposed Project involves the reconstruction and widening of an approximately 2-mile segment of Bruce Road from SR 32 to Skyway Road. Project activities include grubbing and grading of the entire Project site, trench digging, road construction, stormwater facilities construction, tree removal, and other activities. The Project will result in impacts to 0.0012 acres of Butte County meadowfoam (Limnanthes floccose ssp. Californica) habitat including indirect impacts to 0.0005 acres; the Project will permanently remove 0.0007 acres of Butte County meadowfoam habitat. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of Butte County meadowfoam which is designated as an endangered species under the California Endangered Species Act and the Native Plant Protection Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA and Native Plant Protection Act that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
