Document Description
The project is limited to one ( 1) encroachment. Encroachment 1 includes removal of an unpermitted dam and water diversion infrastructure, and installation of new, appropriately-designed water diversion infrastructure. New water diversion infrastructure shall not be installed or utilized until design plans have been submitted to CDFW for review and concurrence as described in the Agreement. Water will be diverted for landscape irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include installation, use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure.

Reasons for Exemption
The project includes removal of an unpermitted dam at the request of California Department of Fish and Wildlife law enforcement staff. The project will also include a new water diversion complying with protective conditions included in the Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat from the remediation work, as permitted, pursuant to section 15065. There are no known hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The remediation project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
