- The Project is limited to the construction of 40 wood debris jams and beaver dam analogs (BDA) by hand in Yellow Creek and tributaries in the Tasmam Koyom (Humbug) meadow valley, as part of a restoration effort aimed at encouraging its use by extirpated species and restoring historic flows. The BDAs will be placed in order to restore Yellow Creek to promote sediment deposition, channel migration, and floodplain and channel connectivity. The structures will be placed during baseflow conditions in the Yellow Creek channel by hand and consist primarily of natural site materials and untreated delivered to the site by hand or by ATV.

- Class 33, section 15333; The project is exempt because it does not exceed five acres in size and assures the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of habitat for fish, plants, or wildlife. Additionally, no significant adverse impact is anticipated, due to the size and scope of the project, to endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat; there are no hazardous materials at or around the project site; and, the project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
