Document Description
Structural and ADA compliant improvements will be made at the Trask house located next to the district office on Colombia Historic State Park. The Trask House will become the new District Administrative office. ADA access improvements will be
completed throughout the building along with a path of travel to the nearby parking lot. Work will:
• Remove and replace existing rear porch and stairs to accommodate new 4' x 6' wheelchair lift with ingress/egress accessibility compliance. Work will:
o Excavate for postholes, and a 3' x 6', concrete stair landing pad;
o Construct a 120-ft^2 deck, 7' stairwell and install a wheelchair lift;
• Install new HVAC system and ductwork throughout building, including related electrical and gas piping.
• Refurbish existing restroom including replacement of all associated plumbing, fixtures, electrical , insulation, wall board, glazing, flooring, and trim.
• Excavate approximately 500-ft^2 up to 8" in depth and construct a new 120' x 4' accessible path from ADA parking to Trask House rear entrance;
• Reconstruct enclosed porch and kitchen, including roof, walls, framing, foundation, cabinets, and sink.
