Document Description
The purpose of the project is to provide a safe and well-maintained transportation facility for both the traveling public and Caltrans’ maintenance personnel. The project is needed as the existing fencing has been damaged (cut and/or removed) for the purposes of creating, inhabiting, and accessing unsheltered encampments. The project would include installation of wrought iron fencing along State Route 44 in Shasta County, between Hilltop Drive and the Churn Creek Road Overcrossing and between the Churn Creek Road Overcrossing and In ‘N Out restaurant (near Friendly Road) in an east/west direction and north/south from State Route 44 to Dana Drive.
