Document Description
Project Description: The Department of Food and Agriculture, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, is seeking to approve a Cannabis Cultivation License submitted on October 22, 2019, by Kevin Vu. Project Activities: The Project will consist of a total of 114,938 square foot of cultivation on parcel numbers 107-181-09 and 107-181-26. Application LCA19-0005127 consists of 9,996 square foot of mixed light canopy, the cultivation of immature plants, processing, and packaging will be located offsite. The project site will add a 160 square foot cargo container, six-foot fencing, and multiple rows of apricot trees. The project site is on an existing organic farming operation within a commercial agriculture zoned area. The project is categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA Class 1.
