The Department of Water Resources is scheduled to install approximately 120 WEKO-SEALs, preventative internal pipe joint seals, within an approximate 6-mile stretch of the South Bay Aqueduct. The purpose of this project is to minimize unplanned outages in the South Bay Aqueduct during the Anderson Reservoir outage.
