Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2019-0175-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, for Chi Hermann/Ventura Regional Sanitation District. The project is limited to the maintenance of the two aforementioned drains that discharge run-off from the Bailard Landfill to the Santa Clara River. The purpose of the work is to ensure adequate drainage of the landfill, which will reduce the potential for storm water to contact buried waste. The maintenance of each drain will include periodic sediment and vegetation removal so that flows will pass unimpeded.
