- Document Description
- A chlorine injection system was installed at California Health Care Facility (CHCF) to increase potable water residual chlorine levels before entering the potable water distribution system at CHCF and Northern California Youth Correctional Center (NCYCC). Due to addition of this water treatment facility, the water system met the definition of a community public water system, and therefore a Domestic Water Supply Permit was issued by the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water. The project scope includes construction of an above ground 120-gallon chemical storage tank, chemical injection system for sodium hypochlorite, a chlorine analyzer, flow meter, and installation of a 48 square foot prefabricated metal cabinet to house the chemical storage tank and electronic control equipment.
