- Caltrans is proposing to conduct geotechnical site investigations in support of the above projects. Phase 1 of the geotechnical work will be conducted solely within the state ROW. Once funding for project delivery Phase 2 has been obtained, geotechnical studies on private properties will be subsequently identified and Permits To Enter and/or Temporary Construction Easements will be obtained.
