The proposed project sites are located on both left (east) and right (west) banks of the Dry Creek, about 400 feet south of Douglas Boulevard, and about 274 feet east of Willow Avenue in the City of Roseville (Placer County).

Reasons for Exemption
Board staff has determined the proposed project is exempt from CEQA under the Class 4, Minor Alterations to Land, and Class 33, Small Habitat Restoration Projects categorical exemptions (CEQA Guidelines §15304 and §15333) because the project involves minor alterations to land to reduce and/or eliminate erosion and sedimentation, and restore/stabilize two sections of the Dry Creek embankment. In addition, the proposed project encompasses an approximately 1.3-acre site, thereby qualifying under a CEQA Guidelines’ Class 33 categorical exemption, where a restoration project site must be less than five acres in size. Further, none of the exceptions to the exemption in CEQA Guidelines §15300.2 apply.
