- The California Department of Transportation proposes road rehabilitation project on State Route 46 between postmile 51.20 and 57.8 and State Route 65 between postmile 0.75 and 6.90. The project would on SR 46 cold plane 0.15’ of existing AC pavement and overlay it with 0.1’ RHMA Type G and on SR 65 cold plane 0.1’ of existing AC pavement and overlay it with 0.1’ RHMA Type G. The proposed work will include dig-outs of damaged areas of pavement by removing 0.25’ of existing pavement where needed and replacing it with 0.25’ HMA. The project would also replace sign panels, and possibly pole replacement as warranted. The purpose is to maintain the existing roadway and extend pavement life.
