The subject property consists of land containing 19.9 acres, more or less, commonly referred to as the 100 Acre Bald Hill property and Assessor's Parcel Number 525-072-006-000. The subject property is within the exterior boundaries of the Hoopa Valley Reservation. Currently, the entire subject property is forestland. The Tribe has no plans to change the use of the property.
As indicated above, the purpose for seeking your comments regarding the proposed trust land acquisition is to obtain sufficient data that would enable an analysis of the potential impact on local/state government, which may result from the removal of the subject property from the tax roll and local jurisdiction.
