The City of San Marcos (City) proposes to adopt the Climate Action Plan Update (CAP update) that would establish a comprehensive framework to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the City. The CAP update identifies strategies and measures to reduce citywide GHG emissions consistent with statewide GHG reduction targets. The proposed CAP also includes implementation and monitoring procedures to ensure progress is being made towards achieving the objectives and specific GHG reduction measures.
