15304: Restoration activities do not involve removal of healthy, mature, "scenic" trees. Restoration activities are intended to improve habitat for fish and wildlife resources. Middle Stewart Canyon Creek is designated by NOAM Fisheries as Intrinsic Potential Steelhead habitat and has been identified through agency consultation as steelhead critical habitat. 15307: Project is undertaken by City of Ojai to assure the maintenance, restoration (wildlife habitat), and enhancement (stream flow) of a natural resource (Middle Stewart Canyon Creek riparian zone).
