Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0435-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Vasant Prabhu. An unnamed tributary, located between two existing culverts, experienced approximately 120 linear feet of streambank erosion. The proposed project will repair the eroded streambank by installing a geogrid system made of natural materials approximately 4-feet high along approximately 45 linear feet of the eastern streambank and approximately 15 linear feet of the western streambank. Once the geogrid system is installed, the streambank will be revegetated with native plants. To reduce pointed runoff, four rock check dams (consisting of approximately 2.5 tons of rock) will be installed equal distance along the unnamed tributary. An existing landscape drain will also be re-routed to the eastern streambank and re-configured to dissipate runoff and reduce erosion
