A grant to the Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District to acquire in fee 341± acres of land for the protection of coastal dunes and Sitka spruce and beach pine forest habitats in order to promote the recovery of threatened and endangered species, including western snowy plover, little willow flycatcher, beach layia, and Menzie’s wallflower, and provide future wildlife oriented public use opportunities.
