Presently, the land use in the project area is State Highway. The bridge, which is a part of the State Highway System, spans the Sacramento River near the town of Knights Landing California. The area surrounding the project has residential housing, small businesses, and agriculture.
Document Description
This project proposes to perform maintenance on bridge approaches on both sides of the bridge. The work includes grinding off the existing asphalt, remove panels and re-seal them, reseal the manhole, place new asphalt, remove existing bearing plates, and evaluate the underlying concrete base, install new bearing plates/pads. All work will occur within the Caltrans Right of Way. No work will occur from under the bridge.
