- Reasons for Exemption
- The project goals include: to reduce stormwater runoff, and improve riparian health by revegetating an area hardscaped for industrial use. Machine equipment will rip up concrete for permanent removal, then the soil will be prepared for hand planting of native vegetation species. This project is adjacent to salmonid bearing stream; thus this project will slow spread and sink runoff and decrease non-point source pollutants from entering the watershed, which will create and improve the area for wildlife. The project does not exceed 5 AC, will not adversely impact flora, fauna or other projects, and no hazardous materials will be disturbed or removed.
