Document Description
Caltrans is proposing to install 187-feet of 1-4-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) conduit for fiber optic via horizontal directional drill (HDD) bore and perform associated traffic control activities on Hollenbeck Ave Undercrossing of Interstate Highway 10 (I-10) from post mile 36.995-36.997, in the City of West Covina, in Los Angeles County. The project extends along the western edge of Hollenbeck Ave. The proposed work will include two 8-feet by 4-feet bore pits, while the conduit will be placed approximately 48 inches below surface. The bore pits will be excavated within the City of West Covina and the underground directional drill work will occur within Caltrans ROW.
