- The Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (the District) proposes the Corte Madera Creek Flood Risk Management Project, Phase 1 (the project). The project will make improvements to the concrete channel that the US Army Corps of Engineers built in the 1960s. The proposed channel improvements provide protection from the 25-year flood event to residents and businesses within the Town of Ross and Kentfield and improve fish passage and habitat.
